I wasn’t rlly there for the food or party, which I’m sure is nice, the entry for the lake is free, which is great. I must say though, there aren’t any showers or real toilets (other than Dixie toilets), for people who’d like to go there for the lake experience:)
Spectacular views across a charming little lake with Black Forest's mountains towering in the distance, great service, funky music, excellent drink selection, and good vegetarian food options. There is plenty of spaced out seating along the lake shore underneath mature trees. The reasonably priced food and drink is self service. You are given a token which vibrates once your food is ready and you collect it at the counter. Vegetarians can choose between a succulent veggie burger, German macaroni and cheese ("Käsespätzle") or salad. Prices are reasonable and beer of the local "Franz" brewery is on tap. Highly recommended.

This guy was shouting to us just for seating at the table.. he could have told us in a nice way but he decided the best way was shouting.
I’m irish on holidays and he could speak perfect English but as it’s Germany.. he told me I should speak german, and that if I didn’t like it I could just leave.
Nobody treated me so bad on holidays before.
I don’t recommend this place at all as the staff really ruins your day.
There are many more lakes around much nicer with more friendly and professional staff.
Even worse just to say this person is apparently the owner of the place.. I don’t know how you treat people like this.

My friend and I came to mosquito and the waiter was extremely rude towards us.
We were in the restaurant after ordering some food and this waiter came shouting to us to leave and wait outside for our food as we are not regular customers.
He treated us super bad and said he could do whatever he wanted as it is his restaurant and if we dont like it we should just leave.
I heard other really bad comments about this waiter already.
This was my first and last time here.. Place is nice but just staff really ruin your day unless you are "regular".

Stay away owners completely unfriendly. First charged 10 euros each to come in. Then no service. Go to bar / restaurant and no cards accepted. Fine after 5 minutes want to leave as we dont have cash and owner refuses refunding 10 euros completely childish and short sighted. Terrible experience
